I have been on to Kensington and I have gone through there checklists etc.uninstalling, driver downloads, Trackballworks helper checked.Ĭould you or anyone who might find out a fix please help.I can keep unplugging the USB in thew short term but that is not a fix it will end up scratching the IMac Pro or maybe damaging the USB. I did not have this problem with an old MacPro Tower (Fall 2010) that I had been using up until last week. It seems like there is something in the order that things come on line when the system boots. Heres what I did: Download the latest driver from (links at bottom of page): Go to System Preferences ControlRight-click on TrackballWorks Remove.

The fix (including a reboot or two) took about 15 minutes. I finally reached the Kensington support group by phone and the support rep walked me through all the changes needed in SYSTEM PREFERENCES to get it working AGAIN (Too numerous to itemize here.) According to the support rep, there are changes in macOS High Sierra that are causing a flood of support calls to Kensington to help resolve the issue. Kensington Trackball Upgrade To MacBook.
